Executive Team
Eul Hyung Choi
President & CEO
Prior to establishing Hanmi Asset in 2000, Mr. Choi held various positions at the state-owned Korea Development Bank (KDB) in Seoul, Korea. His roles included research analyst, loan officer, and syndication manager. His final role at KDB was as Executive Vice President of Korea Associated Securities, Inc., the New York-based investment banking subsidiary of KDB.
Throughout his career, Mr. Choi has served as a fund advisor to several of Korea’s domestic and international trust funds, including Daehan International Investment Trust ($130 million). He also established the Hanmi Korea Venture Fund ($250 million), a venture capital fund designed to invest in emerging Korean companies, with matching funds provided by the Korean government’s Small Business Administration and multiple Korean venture capital firms.
Since 2005, Mr. Choi has been actively involved in real estate development projects in Macau, mainland China, and the United States, serving as an advisor, consultant, or investment banker for various initiatives. Over the years, he has cultivated strong working relationships with Korean entrepreneurs and investors. His current professional focus includes project financing, distressed mortgage securities, and private placements of real estate-related securities.
Mr. Choi holds a degree in Business Administration from Korea University and an MBA from the Stern School of Business at New York University.

Bengamin H. Smith
Vide President
Benjamin has over 30 years of experience in the Private Banking and Asset Management industry. His investment career began at JB Oxford & Company, implementing national marketing initiatives to grow the business in the Community. After serving several years for the firm, he joined Charles Schwab & Co. and Merrill Lynch International, servicing both domestic and international institutions and high net worth clients from Singapore, Hong Kong, and Seoul. In 2008, he formed his own investment firm, providing private banking services. Benjamin has passed the FINRA license, including Series 7, 4, 24, 9, 10, 63, and 66. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Stanford University.
JASPER KOO
Managing Director
Jasper has cultivated expertise in corporate operations, finance, business development, real estate investment strategies, and value-add renovations through hands-on experience working alongside senior executives at Daewoo International America, Samsung Research America, and J&M Spectrum. He holds a FINRA Series 65 license and is a registered investment advisor representative, offering asset management and private equity transaction services. Jasper earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel Administration and Real Estate Finance, with a minor concentration in Business Law, from UC Berkeley in Berkeley. In addition to his investment activities, he is actively involved in multiple start-up ventures across Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and the United States, spanning industries such as communications, construction, and entertainment, and has played a key role in establishing various international joint ventures.
LIAM CAMPBELL, CPA
Managing Director
Mr. Campbell serves as an independent advisor to Ipogo, playing a key role in the company’s core operations. With deep expertise in Pre-IPO and IPO processes, he provides strategic guidance from initial planning to final execution. Since beginning his career in 1982, he has advised both domestic and international clients on U.S. investment matters and cross-border taxation. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in California, a designation he has held since 1981.
From April 2019 to August 2020, Mr. Campbell served as CEO and CFO of Acqusalut Inc., which pursued a Regulation A offering to raise capital for live entertainment projects. In 2018, he founded Mfusion Corp., a venture focused on live entertainment and the issuance of Mfusion Digital Coins, convertible into company shares. In August 2020, ownership of Mfusion Corp. transitioned to new entrepreneurs launching a CBD-coffee business.
In 2007, after seven years of research and interviews with self-made billionaires, he authored Uncommon Commonsense Steps to Super Wealth. The book outlines how individuals with limited means built some of the world’s most successful global enterprises, often by taking private companies public.
FREDERICK J. Williams, JR.
Corporate Advisor & Portfolio Manager

As an independent Corporate Advisor at Ipogo, Mr. Williams manages investment portfolios and serves on the firm’s Investment Committee. He also oversees the company’s technology infrastructure, bringing over 25 years of computer science expertise from both academic and business settings to his role. Prior to joining Ipogo, Mr. Williams spent more than two decades with Chelsea Management.
He completed his undergraduate studies at San Diego State University and California State University, Los Angeles, and holds an IBM certification in computer programming. Additionally, Mr. Williams contributed to cutting-edge biogenetic research at the University of California, Los Angeles. Outside his professional career, he has served as President of the Los Angeles Serra Club and is a board member of MEND (Meet Each Need with Dignity), a nonprofit organization.
JUSTIN JONES, CPA
Managing Director & Corporate Advisor
As Managing Partner at JJ, an Accountancy Corporation, Mr. Jones delivers a full spectrum of public accounting services to Ipogo’s clients, including accounting, taxation, litigation support, and management consulting. Since launching his public accounting career in 1991, he has gained extensive experience with leading national firms such as Moss Adams, LLP, and KPMG, LLP, as well as serving in private-sector CFO roles. His expertise encompasses accounting, auditing, and general business consulting, with a focus on middle-market, family-owned, and private equity-backed manufacturers, distributors, and consumer product companies.
While Mr. Jones’ industry experience is broad, he has developed specialized knowledge in manufacturing, distribution, and apparel, providing strategic guidance to companies navigating rapidly changing markets. As a respected CPA, he is frequently invited to speak before both professional audiences and the public, including financial institutions and bankers. He has also served on the boards of various professional and charitable organizations, further demonstrating his leadership within the industry.
Mr. Jones holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Connell University and a Master’s degree in Business from UC San Diego.
ROBERT KOO
Robert Koo is an accomplished executive with deep expertise in driving growth and innovation across technology and marketing-driven industries. His leadership experience spans renewable energy, broadband, semiconductors, and consumer markets, backed by a strong entrepreneurial foundation and a track record of building and scaling high-performing, revenue-generating teams.
Mr. Koo specializes in strategic marketing, sales execution, and international business development, with a focus on the Asia-Pacific region, as well as Africa, Taiwan, China, Japan, and the United States. His strengths in product marketing, market positioning, and branding have enabled companies to succeed in both emerging and highly competitive markets. As CEO of TKS Power, he led groundbreaking advancements in solar energy technology.
He has also held senior leadership roles at Cheonji In M Partners, Corentec, and Samsung Electronics. Mr. Miller earned an MBA in International Business Management from Stanford University and a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Carnegie Mellon University.
